Healthy Start Home Visitor
The Healthy Start Program provides education and support to pregnant women and families with a baby (birth through one year and beyond). Our Healthy Start Home Visitor will try to set up an appointment with an expectant mother to help with education on having a healthy pregnancy, growth of the baby, involvement of older siblings, fathers and grandparents. If a mother delivers at Sumner Regional Medical Center there will be a visit after the baby is born; after discharge from the hospital we will set up a second appointment to see mother and baby one more time in the home.
